There are the times you must choose among the worse and worst. Living in Iran it is not a rare occasion anyway. Here is snowing sitting beside an air conditioner programmed to stay in 18c I am thinking about the ones who are not able to find a roof, Not only in our country but also in the neighborhood Iraq, Afghanistan. I am also thinking about the house will demolish and the people would be killed (so what? being killed is an ancient tradition in Middle East) . I am not worried about them any more.
I am thinking about the theatre festival being held in Tehran, Film festival which will start very soon and my poems. The last lost tradition of Persian language which still can relief the pain. There is still humanity it is the last but we are still trying …

Living on what you write ...

Means a dream here in Iran. Normally writing will have punishment or at least miseries for the writer. Economically speaking the middle class families who are always the customers including most of intelectuals and people who are in love of the literature can never afford a book a month may be some of'em can but they prefer a sandwich than that or they might not like the new writings specially poetry but the fact is mostly people can not live on writing (You can't go further than 1500 issues that's the law).
Journalists are the exception to the rule as always but journalism does not consider as a profitable business around here...
Worst case are the governmental poetry , Leaders preachers, Oldies, military lovers, Religouse money poets which are always shown and advertised on TV , turned the whole society against what the people beleive as apoet character - Lazy Dirty Old chatterbox - .
Many of us got killed just as they wanted to prove the persian literature as a libertador and society informer.More brave they were than us, more purified , more poet they were (Mokhtary, Pooyandeh Hallowed be thy name ).
But now blogging less brave less gifted it is completely impossible to live on what you write further more you must pay to the publishers in order to publish a book. I am an Electronic engineer the weiredest job for a poet.I see proffesional poets with jobs such as tools shop owner, Advetising assistant,Computer specialist and web programmer.
So many chats to say I Found a beutiful report about the problems and efforts to live on poetry in US. You might find it beutiful. ( They are not in a good mood but better than what we have here)

The machine which can make kindness and love , and can cure death and sorrow.teacher cried and told me " You will learn things when you get bigger ". I am bigger now , as the operator of the machine I type the kindness and I am trying to cure the death and sorrow . The dark deepen and deepen the kindness means nothing and the death stays alive horrifying and humillating. I Cry, as the teacher did.

Expeling militants family !

I am not a politician , Neither a human right activist nor of those kind hearted who weep for a drop of blood . I have seen murder and blood during my life all. Expel is something rather easy comparing to the bloods shed for means of different wars I have seen during my 25 damn_years life. But hearing the news I just remember another story There was a time we have seen a serial bloody killer in Tehran. He wanders around driving a cab and kill and rape the lonley female passengers he picked up mostly at night. papers were calling him THE NIGHT BAT. Society was damn distressed. They could not beleive that ( He has killed 23 women ). Society were in anger, red! red! red! you know what I mean . execution was not a good punishment they say. Not only they hanged him for 8 times but also they whip him for about 150. they beat him, insult him but after that and after that the anger remained , and the problem remained unsolved. the next guys appeared in Mashad killing other 13 females....
The poor guy was mad he needed psycological special cares instead of special punishments, We did not understand that I must admire that it would take a lot of time for our society to accept these french intellectuality. The brilliance of our country is its traditions may our people choose to stay as they are But Israel is another story they are mostly european or Us citizen immigrants they must have known this, these kind of Punishment is always a revenge not a solution ....

To be good and do good was not the only thing that they taught us in school, That was a heart beating sense when they were asking you about your religious matter. How amny prayers for the day?
